Just heard your talk about him and his destiny to work at the Post Office. Your back and forth about the end of stamps made me laugh and remember my last experience with the French Post Office. In the States our stamps are self adhesive with a protective cover you remove before using. At the Post Office I was given a stamp for a post card and stood there hunting for the edge to peel off the cover. With total disdain, well earned by me, the Post lady took her finger to her mouth, licked it, and touched the counter top. Total humiliation, my wife and I laughed about it for days.
