I was looking for a photo to post elsewhere and came across the ones from our 2013 trip of this truly magnificent building.

This cathedral was such a surprise. We were on a tour, and I really didn’t do much research for this trip.April 27, 2021 at 4:05 pm #1213Annie SargentKeymasterYou’d never guess what the inside is like from the outside, would you? They did that on purpose. They wanted to impress the $%^$ out of Protestants and convince them both not to mess with the Catholic church (outside) and to fear hell (inside).
